What are G.I.P.E and the C.E.I.

The full denomination for the abbreviation G.I.P.E is "Asociacion Profesional de Gestores Intermediarios en promociones de Edificaciones" which in English is "The Professional Association of Administrators and Intermediaries in the promotion of Buildings"

Each member of G.I.P.E has studied all the relevant laws to do with all types of property from the purchase/rental of homes or business outlets. Each member has a Fiscal License with his or her own license number and identity card, and is bound by a strict code of conduct. Any failure to meet the legal and moral standards set by the governing body could lead to the loss of a members license or have legal proceedings taken against them.
The whole organization of G.I.P.E is recognized and authorized by the Spanish government and allows them to issue a Fiscal License to people who have met there high professional standards. This standard includes the study of the pertinent property laws and the passing of Exams at the end of a set curriculum.

C.E.I is the abbreviation for "Confederation Europeenne de L'Immobilier" which in English is "The European Confederation of Estate Agents." As a result of the strict working guidelines of G.I.P.E all members are certificated as members of the C.E.I.
